Junior Design Contest U35 …ma così è la vita! was first presented 10th June 2016, Huntington’s Days closing day. Huntington’s Days 2016 has been the second edition of the important initiative to spread awareness and knowledge of Huntington’s Disease, organised by AICH Milano Onlus.
The contest have been imagined as an answer to Huntington’s Disease patients necessities, a rare, genetic and neurodegenerative syndrome, for which today it doesn’t exist any complete healing therapy.
To better focus on patients important needs, AICH Milano Onlus collected experiences and stories from different Huntington families. One of the most important problematic objects was the toilet seat.
These projects will be presented during an Exposition in 2017 and together with Senior Designers Projects will constitute “Huntington Manifesto”.
Junior Design Contest U35 Award Ceremony is going to take place on 3rd December 2016, World People with Disabilities Day. Three best projects will be awarded one each a Wacom (proud sponsor of the initiative) graphic tablet and will be prototyped by Milan Fablabs/Makerspaces.
